STUDIO POLICIES

For Classes, Workshops, and Trainings at Sandhyā Yoga

At Sandhyā Yoga, we honor the practice space as sacred and shared. Our policies are designed to foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students, teachers, and guests. We appreciate your presence and your commitment to co-creating a space of learning, healing, and transformation.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

We invite you to help maintain the clarity and cleanliness of our space through mindful behavior:

• Arrive on time. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late may not be admitted.

• Silence your phone and minimize conversation in the practice rooms.

• Clean your mat and props after use.

• Remove your shoes in designated areas.

• Do not flush sanitary products; please use the bins provided.

• Cancel class reservations at least 3 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows may result in the loss of a class credit.

• Take care of your belongings. The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

CONSENT & PRIVACY

We are committed to consent-based, trauma-aware teaching practices and respect for each student’s process.

• Hands-on assists are always optional and only offered with explicit consent.

• Conversations, emotional expressions, and energetic processes shared during classes or trainings should be held in confidence.

• Photography or video recording of classes, students, or teachers is not permitted without written consent from Sandhyā Yoga.

COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS & SAFETY POLICIES

As a community, we are all responsible for the tone and safety of our shared spaces.

Respectful Conduct

All participants are expected to:

• Speak and act with kindness, mindfulness, and inclusivity.

• Avoid aggressive, dominating, or judgmental behavior.

• Refrain from interrupting or disrupting class once it has begun.

The use of alcohol, drugs, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the studio.

Zero Tolerance for Harassment or Misconduct

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment or inappropriate conduct. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Unwanted or suggestive remarks or advances

• Non-consensual touch or adjustment

• Flirtatious, boundary-crossing, or coercive behavior

• Misuse of hands-on assists or energetic cues

Violation of these guidelines may result in immediate removal and permanent barring from studio offerings.

Termination of Participation

Sandhyā Yoga reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student’s participation at any time if their conduct compromises the safety, values, or harmony of the community. This may occur with or without prior notice and is at the sole discretion of Sandhyā Studios, LLC.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For Classes, Workshops, and Special Events

Our events and trainings require advance planning, minimum enrollment, and meaningful energetic commitment. We offer a clear and fair cancellation policy that allows us to maintain sustainability while still offering a measure of flexibility to participants.

Class Cancellation Policy

Our class credit policy is managed automatically through our scheduling system:

If you cancel more than 3 hours before the class start time:

Your class credit will be automatically returned to your class pack or drop-in credit.

If you cancel within 3 hours of class:

Your credit will not be refunded automatically.

If you experience an emergency or extenuating circumstance, please reach out to us. Our team may be able to return your credit manually in select cases.

Workshop & Event Cancellations

Workshops follow a separate cancellation policy specific to special events:

Credits Back to Account for Everything:

All tickets—whether purchased via pre-paid packs, subscriptions, or single registrations—will be refunded as account credit if canceled within the valid time frame. Credits are not returned to the original payment method unless specifically requested and eligible.

If you cancel more than 72 hours (3 days) before the workshop:

You will receive a full account credit for the amount paid. This credit can be used toward any future class, workshop, or retail purchase.

If you cancel within 72 hours of the event start:

No credit or refund will be issued.

No-shows and same-day cancellations are not eligible for any credit or refund.

If you need to request a refund to your original payment method, please email info@sandhyayoga.com at least 72 hours before the event. Let us know your situation so we may assess eligibility.

Teacher Training Tuition

• All tuition payments for teacher training—whether paid in full or through a payment plan—are non-refundable once the program has begun. If you withdraw from a program while using a payment plan, you will immediately be charged for the remaining balance due.

• If you withdraw more than 14 days before the start date, you may be eligible for a partial account credit, minus a non-refundable administrative fee of 25% of the overall module/training cost. Please email info@sandhyayoga.com to request this account credit.

• Withdrawals from any program made within 14 days of the start date of a module or teacher training program or after the training begins are not eligible for credit or refund under any circumstance. If you have an emergency or extenuating circumstance we will consider your account credit or refund on a case by case basis. Please contact us at info@sandhyayoga.com

We appreciate your understanding that our trainings and events rely on minimum enrollment to proceed and that we cannot guarantee space in future programs without firm commitment.

COMMUNICATION & EXCEPTIONS
