Our 300-Hour Prana Vinyasa Teacher Training is designed to be flexible, supportive, and self-paced. You complete the training by accumulating hours through a combination of core modules, elective modules, mentorship, workshops, and personal practice, while staying connected to a dedicated learning community. The program builds on your 200-hour training and allows you to shape your pathway based on your interests, areas of curiosity, and teaching goals.
Required Core Modules
All students must complete the following required core modules:

Embodying Prana Vinyasa
Elemental Vinyasa
Additional Core Module Options
In total, you will complete five core modules. In addition to the three required modules above, you will choose two additional core modules from the following options:
Advanced Subtle Body
Movement Alchemy
Lunar Arts Immersion
Any weekend immersion or training with Shiva Rea
Remaining training hours are fulfilled through elective modules, workshops, mentorship sessions, and approved practices.
Completing the Program
As you move through the training, you will track your own hours, complete practice and observation requirements, and engage in reflective assignments that support integration. The program culminates in a final 90-minute teaching practicum, along with written reflections that demonstrate your growth, clarity, and embodiment of the Prana Vinyasa approach.
Throughout the process, you are supported in taking responsibility for your learning while being held within a clear, intentional training structure designed to meet you where you are.
The Prana Vinyasa Denver 300-hour advanced teacher training program is an inclusive and dynamic community for unique, creative teachers and students committed to living yoga. This program builds on any background of 200-hour curriculum, offering an integrative exploration of energy-based yoga practices. It is designed to empower you to pace your journey, blending core teachings with your unique areas of interest. Our program is affiliated with Shiva Rea’s Samudra Global School of Living Yoga.

Our 300-hour pathway is offered through a series of immersive, weekend module trainings. Teachers may apply and start at any point and continue weaving modules, mentorship, and other continuing education workshops at our studio over time.

This advanced training delves deeply into the embodied pathways of Hatha Yoga and Prana Vinyasa—a methodology inspired by Shiva Rea’s teachings rooted in the Krishnamacharyan perspective, modern somatics, Tantra, Bhakti, and Ayurveda. Through energetic alignment, breath awareness, and mental clarity, you’ll cultivate sustainable and evolutionary practices that integrate asana and sadhana both on and off the mat. This program emphasizes natural rhythms within and around you, fostering sacred inner flow and presence in the macrocosm of life.

To join this program, you must hold a 200-hour certification from a Yoga Alliance RYS.
The training consists of Core Modules, Elective Modules, and supplemental opportunities to complete the 270-hour training requirement.
Required Core Modules:
These foundational modules are 20-40 hours each and must be completed to fulfill the certification requirements. You must take a minimum of 5 Core Modules, including these 3 required modules:

Elemental Vinyasa

Teacher’s Lab
Elective Modules:
These shorter, specialized modules (10-20 hours) complement the core training. They cover diverse topics such as Iyengar Yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra, Classical Yogic Philosophy, Yin Yoga, and more. Electives are hosted by lead trainers and guest teachers to deepen your exploration.

One-on-one mentorship with Devon Sweeney.
Participation in open workshops with Devon, Zaidy Charròn or Jeremy Wolf.

Complete the Training Requirements:
Accumulate 270 training hours (yoga alliance compliant) through core modules, electives, and supplemental opportunities.
Attend 30 yoga classes during training at Sandhyā.
Observe 5 classes with written reflections.
Submit a written teacher journal-style exam.
Create and lead a final 90-minute teaching flow.
Final Certification:
Submit your final assignments.
Complete your teaching demonstration, showcasing your growth and integration.
