300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training

The Prana Vinyasa Denver 300-hour advanced teacher training program is an inclusive and dynamic community for unique, creative teachers and students committed to living yoga. This program builds on any background of 200-hour curriculum, offering an integrative exploration of energy-based yoga practices. It is designed to empower you to pace your journey, blending core teachings with your unique areas of interest. Our program is affiliated with Shiva Rea’s Samudra Global School of Living Yoga.

  • This advanced training delves deeply into the embodied pathways of Hatha Yoga and Prana Vinyasa—a methodology inspired by Shiva Rea’s teachings rooted in the Krishnamacharyan perspective, modern somatics, Tantra, Bhakti, and Ayurveda. Through energetic alignment, breath awareness, and mental clarity, you’ll cultivate sustainable and evolutionary practices that integrate asana and sadhana both on and off the mat. This program emphasizes natural rhythms within and around you, fostering sacred inner flow and presence in the macrocosm of life.

  • To join this program, you must hold a 200-hour certification from a Yoga Alliance RYS.

    The training consists of Core Modules, Elective Modules, and supplemental opportunities to complete the 270-hour training requirement.

    Required Core Modules:

    These foundational modules are 20-40 hours each and must be completed to fulfill the certification requirements. You must take a minimum of 5 Core Modules, including these 3 required modules:

    1. Foundations of Prana Vinyasa

    2. Embodying Prana Vinyasa

    3. Elemental Vinyasa

    Other Core Modules:

    • Advanced Subtle Body

    • Movement Alchemy

    • Lunar Arts Immersion

    • Embodied Anatomy

    • Teacher’s Lab

    Elective Modules:

    These shorter, specialized modules (10-20 hours) complement the core training. They cover diverse topics such as Iyengar Yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra, Classical Yogic Philosophy, Yin Yoga, and more. Electives are hosted by lead trainers and guest teachers to deepen your exploration.

    Mentorship and Community Opportunities:

    • One-on-one mentorship with Devon Sweeney.

    • Participation in open workshops with Devon, Zaidy Charròn or Jeremy Wolf.

    • Community meetings and online studies.

    Orientation and Planning:

    • Participate in your orientation call with Devon.

    • Receive your 300-hour resources packet and a personalized tracking grid.

    Choose Your Pathways:

    • Select your modules from the schedule provided.

    • Register individually for each module to build your customized training journey.

    Complete the Training Requirements:

    • Accumulate 270 training hours (yoga alliance compliant) through core modules, electives, and supplemental opportunities.

    • Attend 30 yoga classes during training at Sandhyā.

    • Observe 5 classes with written reflections.

    • Submit a written teacher journal-style exam.

    • Create and lead a final 90-minute teaching flow.

    Final Certification:

    • Submit your final assignments.

    • Complete your teaching demonstration, showcasing your growth and integration.

    Embodying Prana Vinyasa is an advanced training for teachers ready to deepen their facilitation skills and embody the energetic intelligence of vinyasa from the inside out. Unlike the Foundations of Prana Vinyasa Module, this immersion focuses on specific alignment of postures, teaching from a flow-state, refining observation and cueing, and elevating your presence as a guide. Through energetic alignment, creative sequencing, and subtle body awareness, you’ll learn to lead transformational classes that awaken prana and empower your students’ inner evolution.

    Embodied Anatomy is a dynamic and tactile study of musculoskeletal anatomy for yoga teachers.
