Eric Rosenfield
RYT200
My name is Eric and I completed YTT at Black Swan Denver in Fall 2025 (RYT-200). I'm originally from Los Angeles, lived in DC and NYC for many years, and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama. Up until recently, my professional career has been focused on international development, environmental policy, and tropical forest conservation, but life is switching things up a bit now! As a yoga teacher, I aim to build community and share knowledge in a way that empowers students both on and off the mat. With over a decade of dedicated self-practice across Rocket, Hot/26+2, Power, Sculpt, Vinyasa, and Yin lineages, I bring a grounded, multi-disciplinary perspective to my classes. I strive to create a full mind-body-spirit experience rooted in the eight limbs of yoga, infused with Buddhist principles, and guided by opportunities for deep listening. My classes are designed to help students surprise themselves — leaving with that “whoa, I just did that” feeling — and to recognize their collective strength by saying to one another, “we just did that together.” Above all, I want to relay that asana is only one small part of yoga, and that the true practice unfolds in daily life through our words, actions, awareness, and compassion for all beings. In my classes, you can expect a mix of meditation, breathwork, smooth vinyasa flows, and light-heartedness (you should laugh at my jokes...!). My music playlists lean heavily into my indie/alternative roots: I think there's nothing better than well-curated songs to match the mood and energy of a flow, and that practicing yoga to music you recognize and love could elevate your spirit that much higher. I hope to see you in class soon!
