Saraphina Mesmer

E-RYT 500

Saraphina draws from a rich and diverse well of practice, weaving together soul, form, and sound through yoga, kirtan, and teacher training in Colorado since 2007. With training rooted to a direct yogic lineage in India, her classes blend ancient wisdom with modern modifications, creating an experience that is welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to all bodies and backgrounds.

She is deeply grounded in meditation training at Shiva Sai Mandir in Penukonda, India, where she completed extensive studies in yogic philosophy from a divine mother lineage. Her teaching integrates the wisdom of palm leaf manuscripts with modern therapeutics and creative expression, offering students a practice that is both timeless and relevant.

A co-founder of Darshan Dance Tribe, Saraphina also guides belly dance through the Devi Dance Collectiv, cultivating spaces of inclusivity, embodiment, and non-competitiveness. Across all modalities, her teaching invites students into joyful, embodied practices that balance breath, movement, and awareness supporting integration, ease, and inner radiance.

“Saraphina’s wisdom, pedagogy, and intention sink deep into your being and radiate on and off the mat. She is a pure gem. I recommend her absolutely to anyone — young or old, beginner to advanced. She is immensely intuitive, present, and I am deeply grateful to have been her student in teacher training.”
